BCG exists for its members. Research and extension activities are designed to provide members with information and resources that will help them improve the productivity, profitability and sustainability of their farm businesses.
We publish our BCG Season Research Results each February, which contains the full results of the year's trials and fieldwork.
BCG offers a soil sampling service to farmers within 175 km of Birchip who, before sowing, want to know the current nutrient status of their soil; identify physical and chemical property imbalances; and improve production and profitability through efficient nutrient management.
Farm Tours are for anyone keen to step through the farm gate, sit down with a Mallee farmer and learn more about what it takes to produce food and fibre.
The Victoria Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub is a state-wide collaboration of 10 organisations, including BCG.
